I am a Senior Economist at the Monetary Affairs Division of the Federal Reserve Board. Before, I worked for three years at the International Monetary Fund. I obtained my PhD from Trinity College Dublin in 2018. During my PhD, I was also a visiting student at Princeton University and had positions at the European Systemic Risk Board, the Deutsche Bundesbank, and the Central Bank of Ireland. My research covers a wide range of issues in macroeconomics and finance. My work has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, The Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Monetary Economics. I have recently been named "Top 40 under 40" by the German Capital Magazin and a "forward thinker" by the Boston Consulting Group and the Handelsblatt.
